Massachusetts Coldwater Fishery Resource List (3/1/06)
Below is a list of the waters known to have coldwater fisheries resources (CFRs) in the Nashua River Watershed. This list is a subset of a list provided by Todd Richards of Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife.
A CFR is defined as a water that meets at least one of the following criteria:
  1. Brown, brook, or rainbow trout reproduction has been determined;
  2. Slimy sculpin or longnose sucker are present;
  3. The water is part of the Atlantic salmon restoration effort or is stocked with Atlantic salmon fry or parr.
