2002 NH Float Stocking
During the early spring of 2002 our chapter helped the State of NH stock
brown trout in the upper half of the Nissitissit River from near its
source downstream to the MA/NH stateline. This was a first time effort
for the chapter. As a result, the chapter now participates in the
stocking efforts for the majority of the length of the Nissitissit.
This project matches efforts that the chapter has undertaken for a number
of years on the MA section working with the state of MA. (Just a few
days later chapter members were stocking
trout on the MA section.) Leveraging the past years' experience
gained in the MA efforts, the morning on the NH section went very well.
Participants for this day were:
John Denomme (Stern of red canoe)
Tim McDaniel
Michael Rosser (Bow of red canoe)
Christopher Schott (Young chap dipping fish)
Russ Schott
Special thanks go out to Gabe Gries, NH State Fisheries Biologist, for
his assistance in coordinating this effort.
All pictures below are by Russ Schott!

Talking about trout?
Michael and John are off to stock the Bohannon to Petersen Road section.

Obviously, a lot of fun.
Almost out of fish near the end.
