2002 MA Float Stocking

Each Spring the Squan-A-Tissit Chapter float stocks the Nissitissit River in cooperation with the State of MA. Using stocking canoes created by chapter members in years past, trout are released along the length of the stocking area in likely holding locations.

During this stocking in April 2002, there were a number of participants organized by John Denomme. John coordinates our chapter's float stocking activities each year.

This regular effort on the MA section of the Nissitissit, together with our 2002 efforts in NH has helped to provide the broadest "watershed approach" to date on the Niss.
